DevOps Engineer with embedded development experience 

At Cryptera A/S, we are leaders in secure payment and cryptographic technologies, powering some of the most critical financial systems around the world. We are expanding into a new focus area with our IoT Security department, leveraging our expertise in cryptography and key management from the payment industry to provide security services for the broader electronics industry with our KeyServer solution.  

Our IoT Security department is a small, agile team, giving you the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks and directly influence decisions. You’ll have a genuine impact on the direction of the projects and help shape the future of our products. 

We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer with embedded development experience to join our team and help build scalable, secure solutions for this emerging area. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Be a key player in the development and scaling of our Firmware Signing as a Service platform 
• Use your expertise to help scale our production environment to meet growing customer demands using containerization 
• Apply your experience in embedded toolchains and Linux to build secure products, starting at the hardware level all the way to high level applications 
• Implement and manage secure boot processes, kernel signing, and embedded security measures. 
• Guide customers in integrating our solutions with their CI/CD pipelines 

Required Skills and Experience: 

• Embedded toolchains, with a focus on secure boot chains, kernel signing and more 
• Security conscious, following best practices. 
• Strong proficiency in Linux and nice to have Yocto
• Hands-on development experience with C, C++, Python, and potentially Java. 
• Proficiency with DevOps practices and tools such as (or similar): 
• Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. 
• GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps for CI/CD automation. 

• Cloud platforms like Azure or AWS ecosystem 

• Experience in scaling production environments to support complex deployments and customer needs.
